1. Warschauer Straße

Warschauer Straße
💳 Admission: normal train ticket
🕒 Open: All day long
The station Warschauer Straße is a good starting point if you want to visit the Wall of Berlin. The Warschauer Straße is by the way at night a common place for locals to visit the nearby bar area at Simon-Dach-Straße. When you are leaving the new"S-Bahn" station you'll have 3 different possibilities.
First you can find the nearby Urban Spree for some street art and urban feeling. Next would be the East Side Mall if you want to shop some things like food or clothes. The last but not least and that's why you are probably here is the former Wall of Berlin. Therefore go down the hill on your left hand side.
2. Oberbaumbrücke (Oberbaumbridge)

Oberbaumbrücke

One of the official landmarks of Berlin. The bridge build in 1732 is crossing the River "Spree" and connects the former east and west part of Berlin. There is also a metro (U 1) passing the bridge. If you arrive the spot 4 you'll have a nice view on the bridge and a good spot to relax for a minute.

Wall of Berlin - The Kiss
💳 Admission: - €
🕒 Open: All day long
The famous part of the Wall of Berlin. It's basically a kiss between the UDSSR politican Breschnew and the DDR politican Honicker. It's an allusion to the connection between the UDSSR and the DDR. If you want to take a picture with this two heads of state be prepared - there is always a small line for taking one.

Wall of Berlin - New York - Berlin - Tokyo
💳 Admission: - €
🕒 Open: All day long
Another wonderful picture made by artist. The pictures change from time to time. The Wall of Berlin took part from 1961-1989 and shared Berlin in a west and east side. It's made by the DDR to prevent citizen from the DDR to escape to the liberal west part of Berlin which was under the control and protection of the USA, France and UK. Official 140 citizen got killed during the time 1961-1989 in Berlin by their own people.
Behind the Wall you'll have a nice place to chill at the "Spree" river and enjoy the view at the Oberbaumbridge.
